Just got this off face book.... it's apparently my chinese zodiac thingy...
Increased vulnerability to venereal diseases and to Aids. Try to single out those of your new acquaintances who deserve to be retained and cultivated. Stirs in you affective life. But everything will be smoothed out if you show tolerance and understanding. Some transitory pains may be felt in your back; take care of your spinal column. Keep your spirits up in spite of your problems, for things will sort themselves out rather quickly.i'm more susceptible to AIDS?! WTF IS THAT?! when i read that line, it just brought up the paranoia i always get when i'm using public toilets or traveling. actually it's not paranoia, it's more like justifiable fears. valid ones that would come up in any sane, normal, health conscious person's head!!!!!!!!
countdown to screaming and hairpulling.....

okie fine.. maybe it's a bit paranoid of me. but hey! it's justified ok! have u ever been to a public toilet, and then looks at the seat and realised that it's kinda dirty and pee-stained? or it still have droplets of pee on it? and then u or rather i start to wonder whether that pee is erm... 'clean' i mean no offense to the HIV infected or AIDS patients out there. but if you can prevent it why not? and even tho i clean the seats and then lay the toilet paper on them, part of me still worries that the virus might still survive my cleaning. part of me things, why should i be infected just cos someone has been irresponsible in their sex life or drug usage (which are probably, in my impression, the most common ways to get HIV)
or when u travel esp to places like indonesia and thailand, and i'm eating something off the roadside stalls or restaurants, i'd still wonder whether the virus does remain on the utensils despite the fact that they have been washed and what nots. often times, you realised that the utensils are not really washed properly as well...
i have always wondered how long does the virus 'live' outside of the host's body. i know it's not airborne, but if thru bodily fluids, then how long is its lifespan when it has been left outside in the environment. maybe i should go for full body check up.... hmmmm
